“It’s the little things in life... Clare Creemers is a Dutch designer with a history in fashion and material design but who has a first and long lasting love affair with jewellery and accessories. From a young age she discovered she couldn’t keep her hands off anything her heart would consider to be a trinket or treasure. Her eye would always wander for the wonder of a discovery. After graduating in 2003 from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute with a clothing accessories line consisting of embellished cuffs, shoulder-pads, ties, aprons, collar-scarves etc., she decided she wanted to go back to working on an even smaller and intricate scale. Detail is definitely her middle name and her love for creating and her desire for that feeling of excitement is always the base of every design. Style-wise there is little consistency, “little” being the operative word. Appreciating any and every style of design, it is always challenging for her to maintain a straight line in her collection, her forever wandering mind makes for many choices that in turn inspires many ideas. “Minimal” is not in her vocabulary either. Be it colour or material there is never a loner. Ribbons, buttons, beads, either natural or man-made, are all part of the game. Femininity is also a key player, girly or more grown up styles vary according to her own mood set and the going trend. ....that make you appreciate, all’s made with love”
