Jasmijn Miltenburg is a designer and artist. Everything she does is happening in and around the world of clothing and textiles. Most of the time she experiments with existing shapes of clothing. She investigates, deconstructs, reconstructs and creates new shapes. Wearability plays an important role. The experiments result in small series of unique clothes. Next, the small collections are subject to fotoshoots, art installations, performances and video art. The variety between down-to-earth clothing and conceptual art keeps her sane. In her work she seeks the balance between the two, to let people enter and make contact with her and her work.
