Neck-length:
Measure the neck circumference by placing the tape on your knobby bone in the middle of your neck in the back and go around. Add a pinch of breathing room.
Upper body:
Measure around the fullest part of your breast, just under the arms. The best thing is to keep your bra on, just as you would wear the garment.
Waist:
Place the tape around the smallest part of your waist from the belly button. Make sure you don’t stretch or pull in.
Hips:
Measure around the broadest part of your hips, keep your feet together.
Back:
To measure the length of your back, start at the base of your neck (the little bone) and make a straight line down to the waistline. To measure the width of your back go horizontal from arm-pit to arm-pit.
Shoulders:
To measure shoulder length, start on the side of the neck to the beginning of the upper arm bone.
Arms:
Start at the upper arm bone, go down over a slightly bent elbow to the wrist bone.
Leg out seam:
Measure vertically down the outside of the leg, from the waistline to the lower part of the anklebone, (or the desired hem length).
Leg in seam:
FOR PANTS ONLY. Measure from the crotch to the lower part of the anklebone (or the desired hem length), running vertically down the inside of the leg.
Thighs:
FOR PANTS ONLY. Measure the circumference, parallel to the floor.
Total length dress:
Measure from the base of your neck down to the desired length of the dress according to the design. It’s better to add a few centimeters, you can always shorten it.
